Summary

Presentation: “Working with Professionals Outside of the Container” by Meg Gluckman, Angela Chu, Mihaella Bayla, and Aubrie De Clerck

For this presentation we have a panel of four professionals answering the questions of Who, What, When, Where, and How to work with professionals outside of the container.

Our panelists will discuss how to strategically integrate "outside the container" professionals—including a divorce coach, parenting coach, career coach, and certified divorce lending professional (CDLP) to streamline cases and protect client resources. Attendees will learn when to engage these experts, such as introducing a career coach when there’s a stay a home parent that needs to get back into the work force or consulting a CDLP when there’s a possibility of one party buying out the other party’s interest in the house and a refinance or assumption is needed or meeting with a coach outside to container to help one of the parties manage the divorce process or learn parenting skills. The panel will share best practices for how attorneys and/or their clients can work with these professionals during the collaborative divorce process.
