Presentation: “Domestic Violence Protection Orders and Children” by Daniel York

                              Join us for this lunchtime program presented by Daniel York who has recently been appointed by Governor Ferguson to join the King County Superior Court bench. Before being appointed to the bench, Dan practiced family law for over 15 years where he regularly handled cases involving complex child custody issues and asset division, as well as domestic violence survivor representation. He also has experience in dealing with protection order proceedings, anti-harassment orders, as well as Title IX cases related to domestic abuse and sexual assault in university settings. During this presentation, Dan will be sharing his insights on domestic violence protection orders when children are involved.
