Presentation: “The State of PFAS in Environmental Litigation: Regulatory Updates, Analytical Considerations, and Forensic Methods” by Dr. Kathleen Brannen-Donnelly, Project Scientist & Emily Frett, Project Scientist of Geosyntec

This webinar will present the state of PFAS science with a focus on how to build a defensible technical case for litigation. The presentation will begin with a brief update on PFAS regulations, followed by PFAS-specific considerations, including limitations, for site history evaluations, analytical data methods, and data analyses, conceptual site model development and source identification. These considerations are critical to arguments made in legal and extra-legal frameworks, such as the identification of potentially responsible parties, and liability and cost allocation.
