Summary

The program leads for three of KCBA’s pro bono programs – Neighborhood Legal Clinics, Records Project, and Kinship Care Solutions Project – will provide information on each program and its volunteer opportunities for new lawyers. They will also discuss admission and practice rules related to pro bono work (APR 3, APR 8) and public service considerations and responsibilities for lawyers (RPC 6). By the end of this presentation, attendees will have an overview of how and why attorneys should do pro bono work, and specifically, how to get involved with KCBA’s pro bono programs.
