Summary

Presentation: "Demystifying Trusts – How to Recognize and Treat Different Types of Trusts” by Liberty Upton of KHBB Law PLLC

This presentation will cover different types of Revocable Living Trusts and Irrevocable Trusts. There will be a strong emphasis on different types of testamentary trusts created for spouses and descendants (e.g., Credit Shelter Trusts, Marital Trusts, Bypass Trusts, Descendants’ Trust, GST Trusts, etc.). We will go in depth on the three main reasons we create testamentary trusts: (1) tax planning, (2) creditor protection, and (3) control.
