Summary

The presentation will provide lawyers with an increased understanding of ADHD, a condition the ABA has estimated impacts 12.5% of lawyers. The presentation includes an educational overview of symptoms, as well as the strengths and weaknesses often displayed by lawyers with ADHD. All lawyers will come away with practical strategies for improving communication and outcomes when working with others with ADHD or other neurodivergent thinkers, including clients, colleagues, and the broader legal community. Strategies will include inclusivity measures, wellness tips, and suggested accommodations to adopt in the course of firm management.  Additionally, for those lawyers with ADHD, the presentation will provide advice for practicing law with this disability.
