Presentation: “Intellectual Property Enforcement in China: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” presented by William (Skip) Fisher, Partner, Potomac Law Group

The presentation will discuss legal and practical issues regarding IP protection and enforcement in China – the good, the bad, and the ugly! Issues to be discussed include China’s IP filing and enforcement profile; a practical IP risk management paradigm for protecting IP rights in China; and practical issues, best practices, and strategies for enforcing your IP rights in China. While all areas of IP – patent, trade secret, trademark, and copyright – will be covered, discussion can lean toward specific subjects depending on the audience. Technology transfer and IP licensing to and from China will also be discussed, time permitting. Questions and open discussion are encouraged.
