Summary

The third segment in our three-part series on Racial Bias in Washington Courtrooms will focus on trial practice in light of the Henderson holding.  Panelists will discuss trial from jury selection all the way through closing arguments, providing examples of how your advocacy might run afoul of Henderson and practice tips for how to ensure your case is anti-racist.

Topics to be covered will include: jury selection, opening statements, curative instructions, limiting instructions, cross examination, and closing arguments.  Come prepared with your Henderson-focused civil litigation practice questions for the panel.
