Beginning January 1, 2024, the US Corporate Transparency Act (the Act) will require corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and other business entities to disclose beneficial ownership information (BOI) to the US Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Join us at our November CLE for:

                              •             a brief overview of the Act, including its history and purpose

•             a checklist of the reporting requirements, including who must report what

•             guidance on what to expect, including changes law firms will need to make in order to continue to handle entity formations or serve as registered agent

•             examine the ethical obligations and responsibilities
