Presentation: “Nuts & Bolts of Filing a Bankruptcy in Alaska,” by The Honorable Gary Spraker, Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Alaska; Kathryn Evans, Trial Attorney for the Acting United States Trustee; Virginia Andrews Burdette, Subchapter V Trustee for the District of Alaska; and Laurie Thornton, Assistant U.S. Trustee

The CLE is aimed at helping bankruptcy practitioners who might be interested in filing or appearing in a bankruptcy in the District of Alaska understand some of the local rules and procedures applicable to filing in that jurisdiction.  The CLE will touch on topics such as how to obtain filing credentials, pro hac vice applications, how to set a hearing, and other rules governing the practice in Alaska.
