My father was an engineer. My mother was trained as a scientist and always had a mind for numbers. My parents always taught me to be analytical in trying to solve a problem and be efficient when you have multiple problem sets.

After all, we’re at the halfway mark on the calendar. Personally, I plan on reviewing my book list to see if I can play catch up over the summer.

KCBA’s housing justice work has grown exponentially over the years. What began in 1998 as a volunteer service now supports a staff of 43 dedicated to promoting housing stability and availability while aiding individuals in avoiding eviction.
