From the Desk of the Presiding Judge-- Bench-Bar Conference Returns

Aloha from King County Superior Court.

Our newest judges, Judge Rampersad and Judge Crisalli, are both underway and tackling their challenging caseloads. Judge Crisalli is assigned as a general trial judge at the MRJC, and Judge Rampersad is assigned to Unified Family Court. It is exciting that King County Superior is again back up to full strength with 54 judges!

On November 10, the annual KCBA Bench-Bar Conference returns after a brief one-year hiatus. The conference will be held in-person at the Washington State Convention Center. The program includes updates from Presiding Judges of Federal, State, and Limited-Jurisdiction Courts; Supreme Court update, Litigator’s Roundtable focusing on remote proceedings practice and court rules; tribal law presentation; presentation to meet and introduce the newest Superior Court judges; and presentation on the King County Civic Campus Master Plan and the future of the King County Courthouse. It will be an informative program and nice opportunity for attorneys and judges to meet and network.

We look forward to seeing you there!
