Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Washington Athletic Club on June 20th for the 2023 Annual Awards Reception.

It was an evening of great conversation and much celebration, as we honored the brightest and best of Seattle’s legal community.

This year’s esteemed Award Winners are:

Aaron D. Paker – Outstanding New Lawyer Award

Michael B. Goldenkranz – Pro Bono Award

Russell M. Aoki – Outstanding Lawyer Award

The Honorable Judith H. Ramseyer – Outstanding Judge Award

SCOTUS Ethics Resolution Team – Friend of the Legal Profession Award

Team Members: Neal D. Black, Thomas M. Fitzpatrick, Kathleen J. Hopkins, Lorelie S. Masters, Lucian T. Pera, Llewelyn G. Pritchard, Mark Schickman and James F. Williams

Executive Search Committee – President’s Award

Team members: Scott Collins (co-chair), Ian Warner (co-chair), Deborah Coleman, Karen Orehoski, and Chalia Stallings-Ala’ilima

The presentation ended with the ceremonial passing of the gavel from outgoing KCBA President Tahmina Watson to incoming KCBA President Karen Orehoski.
