KCBA Member Nights Out: A Summer of Sports Go Team(s)!

KCBA members enjoyed five opportunities to see Seattle sports teams play at home in the summer and fall. It has been a great year for sports, especially with the Mariners — who qualified for the playoffs for only the second time in the past 23 years.

KCBA members had two opportunities to watch the Mariners at T-Mobile Park, in July and September. Both times the M’s won, beating the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels.

In August, members, friends, and family experienced the WNBA and the Seattle Storm. Despite our eager cheers, the home team lost to the LA Sparks.

As Seattle is preparing for next year’s FIFA World Cup, KCBA had tickets for two soccer (football) matches this year, including our first Seattle Reign FC game to kick off Labor Day weekend. Then, members enjoyed a peak experience Oct. 4 at the Sounders FC match against their most heated rival, the Portland Timbers. With almost 33,000 in attendance, the atmosphere at Lumen Field rivaled some English football matches.

King County Bar will host more Member Nights Out at sports games in 2026. Keep an eye out for announcements.
