An anonymous letter highly critical of Judge Debora Juarez was published in the September 1995 issue of Bar Bulletin. In the October 1995 issue the King County Bar Association published letters supporting Judge Juarez’s exceptional qualifications and its KCBA Officers issued an apology and acknowledged that the letter should not have been published. In November 1995, the Bar Bulletin’s submissions policy was changed so that anonymous submissions would no longer be accepted, and all submissions would need an author name for verification purposes.
