After President Karen Orehoski called the meeting to order, the Board approved the meeting minutes for the Board meeting on January 17, 2024.

President Orehoski gave an update on the steps being taken to address all viewpoints received regarding the February 2024 Bar Bulletin article. In addition, she explained how the Bar Bulletin Editorial Advisory Committee will serve as a steering committee to create a task force that will address editorial guidelines and best practices for the Bar Bulletin. All who are interested in serving on the task force are invited to apply.

Jan Glick of Glick Davis & Associates presented an overview of the proposed Housing Justice Project Divestiture as submitted in the Board’s meeting materials. The Board engaged in discussion on the concerns and impacts of this divestiture on all parties involved and whether the Board is ready to vote on moving forward with due diligence to see if this is a possibility per the Housing Justice Project Taskforce’s recommendation. The Board approved a motion to move forward with Glick David & Associates to look into this possibility and report back to the Board.

The Board anticipates a slate of Board nominees to be presented for discussion and approval by the Nominations and Leadership Committee at the next meeting on March 20, 2024.

President Orehoski adjourned the meeting.
