Bar Scholars Reception 2023

This year’s reception was hosted by KCBF President, Vanessa Power at Stoel Rives. KCBF Minority Law Scholarship recipients, law school faculty, and KCBF Board members all gathered to honor this year’s crop of future legal professionals.

Students Viveca Burnette of Seattle University and Hosanna Negash of the University of Washington gave inspiring remarks to the gathered crowd about their experience in law school and what the scholarships mean to them.

Dean Anthony Varona and Associate Dean Kristin DiBiase from Seattle University Law School, and Dean Tamara Lawson of the University of Washington Law School were also present to celebrate the occasion.

Big thanks to Vanessa Power and Stoel Rives for hosting a great event, and much appreciation to all our donors who make the minority law scholarships possible.
