~Volunteer Legal Services, Attorneys with experience in: Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, Social Security Overpayments, and Vacating Criminal Records.

 

~Neighborhood Legal Clinics, Family Law Attorneys & Phone Line Volunteers

 

We invite you to join our talented team of volunteers. We offer a wide variety of opportunities. Opportunities for Attorneys

 

 

Opportunities for New Attorneys or Attorneys New to a Practice Area - The following programs have the ability to provide mentoring and training to attorneys who are new to a specific area of law.

 

Direct On-Going Representation

  • Family Law Mentor, Mentee — dissolution and parentage cases where children are at risk
  • Kinship Care Solutions, new attorneys — nonparental custody        

Advice & Limited Representation

Opportunities for Attorneys Interested in Mentoring - The following programs have a need for mentors.

 

Direct On-Going Representation

  • Family Law Mentor dissolution and parentage cases where children are at-risk
  • Volunteer Legal Services Mentor — chapter 7 bankruptcy, vacating criminal records, Social Security overpayment, estate planning, and debt defense

Advice & Limited Representation

  • Housing Justice Project Attorney advice, negotiations, and limited representation at Show Cause and eviction hearings

Opportunities for Experienced Attorneys - The following programs provide opportunities for experienced attorneys who feel comfortable handling a case without a mentor.

 

Direct On-Going Representation

  • Family Law Mentor Mentee Mentor  dissolution and parentage cases where children are at-risk
  • Kinship Care Solutions Attorney — nonparental custody
  • Volunteer Legal Services Attorney & Advisor chapter 7 bankruptcy, vacate criminal record, Social Security overpayment, estate planning, and debt defense

Advice & Limited Representation

  • Neighborhood Legal Clinics Attorney — various legal areas,  (Please check clinic locations and hours ) 
  • Housing Justice Project Attorney  — advice, negotiations, and limited representation at Show Cause and eviction hearings
  • Self-Help Plus Attorney  — reviewing pleadings for un-contested dissolutions and parenting plans
