Public Law Library Looks to New Year

By Rita Dermody

The renewal period for the Public Law Library's subscriber program begins this month. If you are a subscriber, you should shortly receive an invoice for 2013. Our subscriber fee remains a modest $65 per attorney. This fee has not changed since 2008.

Your subscriber fee gives you access to various subscription databases such as Westlaw, Lexis, HeinOnline, Family Law SupportCalc and Nolo Press. We have an extensive collection of treatises, state statutes and other legal resources, most of which you may check out of the library. As a subscriber, you also receive a discount on document delivery fees and conference room reservation fees.

All visitors to the library have access to these databases and resources, as well as public access computers. We also provide fax and scanning services and WiFi. For the visitors to our library in the Maleng Regional Justice Center, we now have a small conference room available for your use. We also provide notary public services (in Kent only).

Watch for your renewal forms in the mail. If you are not currently a subscriber and are interested in becoming one, give us a call.
