It's hard to believe that by the time you read this, the presidential election will be over and, barring a side trip to the Supreme Court or a revolution by the Electoral College, we will know which party to thank/blame for whatever happens during the next four years. I just hope that whoever gets elected will focus on problem solving, even if doing so involves collaboration with the other party.

Athan Tramountanas has joined Short Cressman & Burgess PLLC as a partner. Tramountanas was formerly with K&L Gates and has an extensive construction, contract law and complex litigation practice.
Hugh Matsubayashi has become a partner in the Intellectual Property Procurement and Portfolio Management Practice of K&L Gates. Matsubayashi was formerly vice president of legal affairs and intellectual property at Neuro Vista Corporation.
John Santa Lucia has become a member of Foster Pepper PLLC's Real Estate Group. Santa Lucia was formerly with Duane Morris LLP in Chicago and has a broad-based real estate and real estate finance practice.
Matthew Lynch has joined Sebris Busto James as a shareholder. Lynch was formerly with Washington Employers as director of labor relations services and general counsel, where he represented employers in labor relations and employment matters.
