As we move into fall, I would like to congratulate whoever is in charge of the local weather for delivering a fantastic summer. I'm always amazed at how much a sunny day can improve the mood of the people experiencing it, even if they are indoors in an office. I have high hopes for a scenic (and meteorologically uneventful) fall and winter, too.
New Partners, Shareholders and Members
My absolute favorite law firm, Ogden Murphy Wallace, P.L.L.C., recently added Adam Snyder as a member of the firm's Health Care and Business Practice groups. Snyder was most recently a shareholder at Inslee, Best, Doezie & Ryder, PS, where he was co-chair of the Health Law Practice Group.
Scott Weaver has been named a shareholder at Carney Badley Spellman. Weaver practices in the areas of commercial litigation, general civil litigation, real estate and business.
Timothy Casey has become a partner with Woodcock Washburn LLP. His practice focuses on creating and managing technology and intellectual property, and structuring, negotiating and contracting for the license and sale of a wide range of technologies, IP and businesses.
Brie Jensen recently joined Socius Law Group as an associate. Jensen's practice covers commercial real estate and business transactions. Prior to practicing law, Jensen was a commercial real estate broker.
