Bringman Joins Law Library Board

The Law Library is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph E. Bringman to the Board of Trustees of the Public Law Library. The statute that creates county law libraries directs the King County Bar Association to appoint two lawyers to the Library's Board. Bringman is a senior counsel in commercial litigation practice at Perkins Coie. He is active in the KCBA, having served as president, trustee, and chair of numerous committees, as well as other positions.
Bringman brings a special quality to the Board of Trustees. He has worked as a pro bono attorney representing the needs of prisoners. As a public law library, we are committed to assisting all with their legal research needs, including the people without lawyers. Bringman's passion for serving the needs of the prisoners fits perfectly with our mission of helping all.
I am thrilled that he is joining the Board of Trustees. His experience as a KCBA president and trustee, as well as his experience as a pro bono attorney, will be a huge asset to the Library's Board.
