Seattle University and University of Washington law students gathered with bar leaders November 10 for the King County Bar’s annual Bar Scholar Reception, hosted by Dorsey & Whitney. The students were presented with a ceremonial check for $136,000 in minority law student scholarship funds, which is assisting over forty student this year. KCBA President Kim Tran and Judge Dean S. Lum celebrate the 14th annual National Adoption Day with the Mariner Moose at the King County Superior Court on November 20, 2015.

KCBA President Kim Tran and Director of Pro Bono Services Threesa Milligan are presented with a grant from Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson at the October 21st Board of Trustees meeting. The $150,000 grant for the Eviction and Debt Alleviation Project funds efforts to provide representation, legal assistance, and education to Washington tenants facing eviction and bankruptcy.
