If you enjoy watching large public construction projects, I highly recommend the Seattle waterfront. The seawall construction project is in full swing and there are plenty of opportunities to observe its progress on weekends or late at night, when the noise makes it hard to concentrate. I am looking forward to its completion, both for some peace and quiet and so that I can visit the shops along the waterfront that are closed for construction until June of next year. In the meantime, the seagulls that hang out at Ivar's are spending more time at CenturyLink Field in search of their favorite fries.
