2015 Annual Volunteer Recognition Reception Honors Pro Bono and Bar Committee Volunteers

The King County Bar Association celebrated its pro bono and KCBA committee volunteers at its annual recognition reception on October 13 at the Women's University Club. During a brief program, Washington Supreme Court Justice Mary Yu delivered welcoming remarks that focused on the importance of volunteerism to our society. The bar then recognized seven outstanding pro bono volunteers for exceptional service (profiled on the facing page), followed by outgoing committee chairs Aimee Decker and Binah Yeung (Future of the Law Institute); Jesse Dubow and Erin Overbey (Judicial Candidate Evaluation/Screening); Colleen Kinerk (Pro Bono Services); Russell O'Dell (Neighborhood Legal Clinics); and Lawrence Ward (Membership).
