I’m doing my research for this column on a brand new iPad that is miraculously much thinner, brighter and faster than my old iPad. The detachable keyboard is also much thinner and lighter than my old one. It’s amazing how much technology changes in four years. The only downside is that I am more hesitant to take photos of my art in progress with it for fear of smearing molten wax on it and marring its lovely plastic shell.
