Fall Swearing-in Ceremony
Do you remember the day you were sworn into the bar? KCBA President Kate Battuello remembered that day fondly on September 20 as she spoke to 146 new admittees who were minutes away from becoming members of the Washington bar.
Excited new admittees and their families packed the ceremonial courtroom at the King County Courthouse for one of the most important days in any attorney’s professional life. King County Superior Court Presiding Judge Susan Craighead administered the Oath of Attorney, after providing special guidance and words of wisdom.
Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes and Seattle Councilmember Reagan Dunn, along with KCBA Young Lawyers Division Trustees Miriam Gordon and Vinnie Nappo, all joined the festivities to provide inspiration, offer challenges and share memories with the newly minted lawyers.
