LHHC Luncheon Set for November 4
The King County Chapter of Lawyers Helping Hungry Children, a nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger in Washington, will hold its annual fundraiser on November 4 at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle. The luncheon will be emceed by Ian Lindsay and headlined by keynote speakers Rep. Jim McDermott and former Seattle Mariner Raul Ibañez. Entertainment will again be provided by the Hawthorne Elementary School Choir.
The luncheon will celebrate Lawyers Helping Hungry Children's 23rd year raising money and advocating on behalf of hungry children. The money raised by LHHC goes to beneficiary organizations that provide food to children of low-income families and advocacy for childhood hunger issues. Beneficiary organizations include: the City of Seattle Summer Food Program; Northwest Harvest; Emergency Feeding Program; WithinReach; CARE; and Children's Alliance.
LHHC's Pierce County Chapter will hold its annual breakfast fundraiser on November 4 as well to help fund emergency food programs in Pierce County.
