Applications Being Accepted
for January Judicial Institute
The 2017 Judicial Institute will be held January 20–21, 2017, at the Seattle University School of Law. The Judicial Institute is a collaboration project between the minority bar associations, the judiciary, local and state bar associations, law schools, and the Washington Initiative for Diversity. The purpose of the Judicial Institute is to prepare qualified diverse attorneys for judicial positions through a comprehensive education and mentorship program.
We are committed to the diversification of Washington’s courts. We believe our judicial system is strengthened when it reflects the communities and populations served throughout the state of Washington. The bench is enriched, and decision-making is enhanced, by a variety of perspectives, life experiences and professional paths.
Applicants must have at least eight years or more of experience. Please submit a letter of interest, résumé, and the Judicial Institute Application via email to JudicialInstitute2017@gmail.com or by mail to Washington Initiative for Diversity, P.O.
