KCBA Spring Swearing In Ceremonies
The King County Bar Association held two Swearing In Ceremonies on May 18th, serving 140 new lawyers and their guests.
Presiding Judge Richard McDermott presided over the two ceremonies and addressed the new lawyers with words of inspiration and candor.
King County Superior Court President Judge Richard McDermott issued the oath to the newly minted lawyers.
Joseph Bringman, President of the King County Bar Association, and WA State Representative Roger Goodman (45th District) spoke at both ceremonies. They described their career paths, offered encouragement and emphasized the importance of giving back to the community.
The KCBA Young Lawyers Division was well represented by Vice-Chair David Keenan and At-Large Member Skylee Robinson, who welcomed the new lawyers and invited them to join the Young Lawyers Division to help get their careers started.
