This month marks the beginning of summer, which means that Bell Street from Second to Third Avenue will be closed to traffic for a couple hours most Friday nights through August for Belltown Beats (live music) and Artist Workshops in the Park (artists demonstrating and selling their work). You are all invited to participate in this example of park activation and civic engagement, and the first person who stops by my table and says they read about it in Bar Talk gets a free encaustic painting.
