It’s a beautiful, sunny, spring Sunday morning, and here I am indoors, writing “Bar Talk.” I’m also noticing that somebody really needs to clean my windows, but in the interests of getting this column done, window cleanliness is going to have to wait.

Partner Pronouncements

Anna Cashman has been named a member at Kutscher Hereford Bertram Burkart PLLC. Her practice emphasizes estate planning, taxation, probate, trust administration, and trust and estate litigation matters.

J. Timothy Hobbs, Naomi Ogan and Ankur Tohan have become partners at K&L Gates. Hobbs is a litigator with a practice in antitrust law, trade regulation, and litigation and counseling regarding domestic and international fisheries. Ogan focuses on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and securities offerings. Tohan handles matters involving energy infrastructure, natural resource development, compliance counseling, and defense of governmental and citizen enforcement actions. He works with the firm’s Environmental, Land and Natural Resources practice.

John Goldmark and Dipa Sudra have become partners at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Goldmark handles complex litigation and appeals, including intellectual property, class action defense, and securities litigation. Sudra focuses on benefits issues involving ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, the Affordable Care Act, COBRA, HIPAA and GINA, among other things.

Theresa Wang has been promoted to shareholder at Stokes Lawrence. She is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice and works on matters involving copyright, domestic and foreign trademarks, licensing, and software representation.

Vladimir Raskin and Farron Curry have been named shareholders in the Seattle office of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. Raskin’s practice focuses on intellectual property, including patent prosecution and counseling, and drafting, prosecution and procurement of U.S. and foreign patents. Curry’s practice emphasizes complex litigation involving commercial, employment, and product liability claims.

Associate Additions

Sarah Ellerson has become an associate with Helsell Fetterman. She handles divorce and other family law matters.

Elizabeth “Liz” Findley has become an associate with Stokes Lawrence. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She was previously with Montgomery Scarp.

Anton Cauthorn has joined Reed Longyear Malnati & Ahrens PLLC as an associate. Cauthorn, who was previously with Rehberg Law Group, works in the areas of trust and estate planning, probate and trust administration, as well as tax law and small business planning.

Erik Jennings has become an associate with Pacifica Law Group. His practice emphasizes real property transactions, particularly complex commercial leasing.

Rebecca Penn has become an associate with Livengood Alskog. She works primarily in the firm’s healthcare, public school, general business and litigation practices.

Of Counsel and Others

Jeff Nelson recently joined Cairncross & Hempelmann, where he will lead the firm’s Trademark & Copyright group and enhance the capability of the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group. Nelson was previously with Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP and Perkins Coie LLP.

Eliot Harris has joined Williams Kastner’s business litigation group. His practice focuses on insurance coverage, product liability and general litigation.
