KCBA Launches Program To Recognize Solo, Small Firms
The King County Bar is excited to announce the new Jewels of the Bar program for solo and small-firm practitioners. The Pillars of the Bar program, for firms of six or more attorneys that have 100-percent KCBA membership, has been in existence for over a decade. Now, with the Jewels program, we have a way to acknowledge our wonderful solos and small-firm members.
Jewel members will automatically fall into one of four jewel categories - Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald or Diamond - according to their years of KCBA membership. KCBA's website now has a page (www.kcba.org/membership/jewels) for each Jewel category, which lists each "Jewel Member" and a link to their website. Jewel logos are available for members to use in marketing materials and on their own websites.
KCBA staff emailed Jewel members recently to let each member know which category we put them in. If you have been a member of KCBA for more than five years and are a solo or small-firm practitioner (five or fewer firm members) you are automatically a Jewel of the Bar. If you have not heard from us, or you think we have you in the wrong category, please email Janielle Ford, at Janiellef@kcba.org.
Each KCBA member brings something special to the KCBA family. KCBA is so honored and proud to partner with our members in efforts to constantly make improvements to our legal community.
