I don't know what this spring has been like for you, but it seems to be pollen central in my neighborhood. Maybe it's global warming or maybe I'm just getting more decrepit as I get older, but the whole allergy situation seems to be worse than usual this year. I know April showers bring May flowers and all that, but I'm really not looking forward to it this time.

Partner, Shareholder and Member Promotions

Ryan Sternoff has been promoted to partner at Ahlers & Cressman PLLC. Sternoff focuses his practice on all issues related to construction law and litigation.

Ryan Swanson & Cleveland welcomes Kari Brotherton as its newest member. Her practice focuses primarily on comprehensive wealth and estate tax planning services.

Rachelle Wills was recently appointed to shareholder in Littler Mendelson, P.C.'s Seattle office. Wills advises and represents employers in employment and labor law matters arising under federal and state laws.

Associate Additions

Andrew Clapp and Shawn Butler recently joined Helsell Fetterman as associates. Clapp focuses on advising clients seeking to buy or sell privately held companies through stock or asset purchases. He previously practiced law in Pennsylvania. Butler is a litigation associate who focuses his practice on healthcare, commercial disputes and personal injury.

Marjan Disler recently joined Short Cressman & Burgess PLLC as an associate practicing environmental law and litigation. Her practice includes CERCLA contribution actions, land use, employment and commercial matters. Disler was previously with a New Jersey law firm.
