Jake Ewart has been promoted to principal at Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S. Ewart is a trial and appellate litigator for public, private and nonprofit clients with an emphasis on complex litigation.
Lisa Schaures and Aviva Kamm have been promoted to shareholders at Stokes Lawrence. Schaures practices in the areas of corporate governance, taxes, mergers and acquisitions, deferred compensation, corporate giving, and social entrepreneurialism for closely held businesses and startups. Kamm's practice focuses on discrimination, termination, wage-and-hour issues, and non-compete and non-solicitation provisions.
Lori Rath has been named principal at Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson, PLLC. Rath has a practice involving estate and charitable planning, estate taxation, trust and probate administration, and trust and estate disputes. She chairs the firm's Estate Planning, Trusts & Probate Practice Group.
Jillian Cutler has become a partner with Frank Freed Subit & Thomas LLP. Cutler represents plaintiffs in employment cases involving discrimination, retaliation and disability rights law.
Erin Anderson, Aric Jarrett and Devin McComb have been named partners in the Seattle office of Stoel Rives LLP. Anderson's practice focuses on energy services, environmental and natural resources, land use and Native American business. Jarrett handles complex commercial and class action litigation. McComb works on real estate transactions.
Jenny Durkan, former U.S. attorney, has joined Quinn Emanuel as a partner. Durkan is the global chair of the firm's Cyber Law and Privacy Group. Her practice focuses on cyber crime, complex litigation, government policy and legislative strategy.

Tymon Berger has become a partner at Ashbaugh Beal. He is part of the firm's Construction Law Group, where he works on public bid protests, alternative and collaborative procurement methods, complex litigation claims, and other issues.
