Venturing Solo: "Why Not You?"

Quarterback Russell Wilson asked his team, "Why not us?" at the start of the Seahawks' championship season. The team went on to win Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos in convincing fashion. After winning the title, Wilson told the world that his late father often encouraged him early in his football career by asking a simple question: "Why not you?" Wilson turned this phrase around to inspire the team.

For this month's Women issue, we interviewed four attorneys and asked them, "Why not you?" We caught a glimpse of their inspiration and the qualities that make them MVPs in their own right in today's new legal arena.
