Mission Statement:

The purpose of the section is to promote interest in labor and employment law, to stimulate and extend the study of the field, to improve the level of professional knowledge and to improve the application of justice in the field.

Annual Business Meeting - The Annual Business meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the offices of Davis Wright Tremaine, 1201 Third Avenue, Suite 2200, Seattle, Washington. At the meeting, there will be an update on Section business, the election of Section officers and a presentation by the Honorable Richard Tallman, Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Each year, the Labor and Employment Law Section sponsors the Pacific Coast Labor & Employment Law Conference in the spring, along with its Annual Winter Event (CLE/reception) in January and its Annual Business Meeting in June. The section consists of attorneys whose practice includes representing clients in litigation or advisory matters involving labor and/or employment issues.
