MLK Luncheon 2021

Feeding Your Soul by Feeding and Helping Another

Virtual Presentations

The  KCBA Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Luncheon Committee is pleased to announce that we will be celebrating  Dr. King’s birthday a bit early with three great one-hour, virtual presentations during the months of October and November instead of the January 2021 MLK Luncheon.

The reason for our transition is quite simple:  we seek to model the Bar Association after Dr. King and provide help to those who need it most. In a time of great uncertainty, we strive to support the most vulnerable of our community and educate ourselves on topics that have contributed to an increased disparity among us locally, here in Washington. All proceeds will go to support King County food banks and the scholarship funding for minority law students. Speakers will engage with members of KCBA on three separate occasions, where each event will address a critical issue consistent with Dr. King’s legacy.
