Dining Out: From Farm to Table

Not long ago, the concept of farm to table was a novel rebellion from the modern day marvel of international sourcing with everything fresh available year round. But now in Seattle, the challenge is picking which of the many restaurants touting farm to table to try out. In the spirit of Earth + Life we took on this challenge.

Starting downtown, we found Rider (619 Pine Street [the old Vonn’s location]; 206-859-4242; http://riderseattle.com/). Rider is one of the newer (opened late 2017) farm-to-table themed restaurants in downtown Seattle, and conveniently located for lunch if you are in the shopping district.
