As I write my last column as Executive Director, I thought long and hard about sharing a reflective and personal piece. The words “E pluribus unum” popped into my head and away I went, fingers flying across the keyboard, writing what I thought was a moving piece. And then I googled e pluribus unum and the article crumbled. Y’all, my source was Jane the Virgin, season 4, episode 17 when Jane quotes Cicero in a moving monologue and the phrase hit something in my core so I wrote it down to reflect on some day.
