With increasing momentum, solar photovoltaic, solar heating, and concentrated solar thermal systems are becoming an integral and vibrant component of the global economy. Coupled with regular scientific and engineering breakthroughs, the robust demand for solar energy has encouraged the total shipments of U.S. solar photovoltaic firms to increase dramatically in recent decades.
