The Kinship Care Legal Aid Coordinator

Greetings, KCBA members, I currently serve as the Kinship Care Legal Aid Coordinator, a statewide position housed at KCBA. The position was created in 2019 in order to increase legal resources and services for kinship caregivers around the state, by coordinating with different programs. But first — what is kinship care and who are kinship caregivers? 

Kinship care is the act of raising a relative child, such as a grandchild, niece or nephew, or younger sibling.
