Isolation has been a critical component to keeping our community safe during the COVID pandemic. But, the isolation that was intended to keep everyone safe, has not. Isolation has compromised the safety and well-being of many community members experiencing violence in their own homes. The number of domestic violence incidents has not only increased during the pandemic, but the severity of the violence has also escalated.
