Mediating online not too long ago seemed like a farfetched idea, and an unpopular one at that. In fact, there were many arguments against this type of mediation practice. The COVID-19 pandemic however, changed the alternative dispute resolution game and in turn changed the mediation game.
While coming up with arguments against online mediations is easy, there are also advantages to consider. In a short time, online and video mediation have become the new normal, and are continuing to gain traction in the slowly evolving legal system.
