On December 31, Paul Sherfey stepped into retirement by saying goodbye to the King County Superior Court that he served for more than 20 years as its Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The CAO is the highest non-judicial role in Superior Court. Paul has served in the CAO role since its creation.
Prior to serving in this role, Paul served as the county clerk. During his tenure, Paul worked with seven different presiding judges and describes each as an exceptional and kind leader; and notes each was a pleasure to work with. Two of these presiding judges were Judge (Ret.) Helen Halpert...
