KCBA’s Volunteer Legal Services is looking for a new cohort of attorneys for our Social Security Mentorship Project. The program aims to provide direct representation for low-income clients seeking advocacy for Social Security overpayment cases.
This is a great opportunity for new lawyers or lawyers new to the practice of Social Security law, so no experience is necessary. Mentee attorneys will be paired with a staff attorney from the Seattle Community Law Center. Mentees also will be provided with both substantive and procedural training prior to taking a case, along with mentorship throughout the duration of the case.
