The Defendant, Yishmael, was convicted for the unlawful practice of law. Yishamael, who is not an attorney, advised clients to squat in abandoned properties to try and obtain them through adverse possession. After his clients were arrested, Yishmael was prosecuted and convicted for misdemeanor unlawful practice of law. Yishmael appealed the decision on both factual and procedural grounds. The Court affirmed his conviction by finding no error.
