KCBA YLD UPCOMING EVENTS
YLD Slated Board of Trustees
After a thorough application and interview process in which a number of great candidates came forward, the King County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Nominations Committee has nominated a slate of candidates for the upcoming vacancies on the Young Lawyers Division Board of Trustees.
The Committee nominated one candidate for each open position as follows: Skylee Robinson, Stoel Rives, currently serving as YLD Vice Chair, for a one-year term as Chair of the YLD; Brent Bohan, Bohan Law, PLLC, Katie Comstock, Levy - von Beck & Associates, P.S., Nathan Nanfelt, King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, and Peter Talevich, K&L Gates LLP, each for three-year member terms; and Nick Thorsvig, Principal Financial Group, for a two-year lay member term. Candidate statements for each of these individuals are on our YLD Elections page.
YLD members and lay members who wish to challenge the slate may run against the above-named candidates for member and lay member trustee positions by submitting a petition signed by at least five members of the YLD in good standing. The petition must be filed with the office of the King County Bar Association on or before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2012. For more information about the petition process, please contact the Member Services Manager, Christine
