Duwamish Alive! Earth Day Event

West Duwamish Greenbelt

EarthCorps and Nature Consortium are joining forces again for the 7th Annual Duwamish Alive Earth Day event at the West Duwamish Greenbelt/Pigeon Point Park. Join us, the Green Seattle Partnership and a host of partners and volunteers as we continue to restore the largest contiguous greenbelt in Seattle.The greenbelt is home to a diverse population of wildlife and provides an important corridor for migrating birds. This site hosts a variety of habitats including meadow, forest, wetland and a diversity of edge habitats.

Volunteers will participate in removing invasive plant species such as Himalayan Blackberry and Scots Broom. These invasive plants are taking over and threatening the health of our urban forests. Work with us and learn the secret to keeping this valuable resource a viable forest habitat for animals and a great resource for humans to enjoy.

6th Annual King County Bar Association YLD Fun Run and Walk

Sunday, April 29th at 9 am at Seward Park

Event proceeds support the King County Bar Association and the KCBA Pro Bono Services, including the 37 Neighborhood Legal Clinics located throughout King County.

Group Registration: Groups may register by downloading this form or contacting Janielle Harris at Janielleh@kcba.org or  206-267-7016. Groups of five people receive one registration free (5 for the price of 4) so sign up all of your friends and family.

Team Prizes: We will have special prizes for 1) the team with the most participants 2) the team with the best matching attire/costume.
