Free CLE Admission
KCBA’s Community Legal Services (CLS) Programs offer FREE initial CLE training in exchange for volunteering on our various panels. These programs are used to train volunteers in a substantive area of law where clients have legal needs.

Some CLS programs provide additional substantive trainings and the Neighborhood Legal Clinics hosts a series entitled Issue Spotting for Pro Se Legal Clinic Clients that help train volunteer attorneys in areas that are commonly seen at the general legal clinics. These additional trainings are open to all KCBA CLS volunteers; however priority is given to volunteers of the CLS Program sponsoring the CLE.

We encourage all volunteer attorneys to take advantage of these opportunities to expand their legal knowledge and better serve our clients.
