CENTS was formed in 1995 by concerned bankruptcy and accounting professionals in response to an alarming increase in the number of financially troubled individuals in King County. CENTS provides money management training, debt counseling, referrals, and legal services.

CENTS is seeking individuals who wish to supplement our Money Management classes by providing individual financial counseling to clients. The training for financial counselors would consist of a two hour orientation, followed by an optional observation of a counseling session. Counselors would be asked to volunteer four hours a month, providing individual financial counseling to clients.
